“It’s such a wonderful feeling to be a new member of the BMG family,” Felder says in a statement. “They are an incredible company run by great people. I’m so excited and happy to be part of this amazing group and work side by side on my new album with them.”

Adds BMG executive John Loeffler, “Don Felder is one of music’s true icons and we couldn’t be happier he’s chosen to work alongside BMG on his new album. His voice and musicianship are second to none and he’s put together a real rock and roll gem full of hooks and melodies that stick with you for days. This is going to be a real favorite for all rock fans.”

Road to Forever included guest performances by such famous artists as David Crosby, Graham Nash, Stephen Stills, Styx‘s Tommy Shaw, American Idol judge Randy Jackson and founding Toto members Steve Lukather, David Paich and Steve Porcaro.

Felder was a member of the Eagles from 1974 until their 1980 breakup, and again from the group’s 1994 reformation until his dismissal in 2001. His debut solo album, Airborne, was released in 1983.

As previously reported, Felder has a variety of upcoming North American concerts on his 2019 itinerary, starting with a three-date engagement in Niagara Falls, Canada, at the Fallsview Casino Resort running from January 31 through February 2.
