Santana has extended its long-running Las Vegas residency at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino into the fall.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers have scheduled two new eight-show engagements, running, respectively, from September 18 through September 29 and from October 30 through November 10.
Tickets for all of the new performances of the group’s Greatest Hits Live Vegas shows are available now via HouseofBlues.com. Carlos Santana and his band also has a previously announced Vegas stand scheduled to run from May 15 through May 26.
2019 figures to be an extremely eventful and busy year for Santana, since it marks the 50th anniversary of the band’s famous Woodstock performance and the 20th anniversary of the release of its smash album Supernatural.
Besides the Sin City residency gigs, the group has a series of U.S. headlining shows in April and has lined up a joint summer tour with The Doobie Brothers that’s mapped out from a June 22 show in Phoenix, Arizona, through an August 25 concert in Wantagh, New York.
Last month, Santana released an EP titled In Search of Mona Lisa; a vinyl version hit stores this past Friday, February 22. The band is planning to put out a full-length studio album produced by Rick Rubin later this year.
