The book currently sits at number six on the Times‘ Paperback Nonfiction ranking, and number eight on the Combined Print & E-Book Nonfiction list.
Originally published in 2001, The Dirt was written collectively by the four Crue members — Vince Neil, Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee and Mick Mars — in collaboration with journalist Neil Strauss.
Meanwhile, The Dirt film is streaming now on Netflix. Its soundtrack, featuring three new Crue songs plus a cover of Madonna‘s “Like a Virgin,” debuted at number 10 on the Billboard 200, giving the 80s metallers their first top-10 album in a decade.
