Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder and Red Hot Chili Peppers will perform at this year’s Silverlake Conservatory of Music benefit concert, taking place November 2.

The annual event raises money for the Los Angeles-based music education program, which was co-founded by Chili Peppers bassist Flea.

The night will be hosted by comedian and Joker actor Marc Maron, and will also feature a performance from Silverlake’s All-Star Band.

In other news, Vedder made a surprise appearance during his pals The Who‘s concert on Saturday at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park. According to The Seattle Times, Eddie joined the British rock legends for a rendition of “The Punk and the Godfather,” a song from the band’s classic 1973 rock opera Quadrophenia. Vedder sang the same song with The Who at the group’s July 6 show at London’s Wembley Stadium. Eddie was one of the opening acts at the Wembley gig.
