Kevin Mazur/Getty ImagesRolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has posted a Christmas Eve video message on his social media sites, sending holiday greetings to fans.

The 20-second clip starts with Richards thanking fans for their well-wishes with regard to his recent birthday and wedding anniversary — Keith turned 76 on December 18 and married wife Patti Hansen in 1983, on his 40th birthday.

He goes to say, “Let me wish you all Happy Holidays, Happy New Year, and see what we can come up with.”

The latter part of the message may seem unclear, but since band mate Ronnie Wood recently told the U.K. tabloid The Sun that The Rolling Stones have been working on a new album that he hopes will be ready for release in 2020, Richards’ comments could very well be referring to that project.

“The new album is like a puzzle, we still have to put the missing pieces together,” said Wood.” We hope to release it in 2020 and then continue our world tour.”

Let’s see what the New Year will bring.
