Sting has a very large family, and he tells ABC Audio that they likely won’t all be together on Christmas.

“I have six children and seven grandchildren. [It’s] difficult to get them all in one place,” the ex-Police frontman explains. “It takes bribery, it takes blackmail, bullying, cajoling. I think we’ll probably have half of them.”

Sting has a busy 2020 planned that, from January through April, will see him mount a revival of his stage musical The Last Ship, which will play engagements in Los Angeles; San Francisco; Washington, D.C.; St. Paul, Minnesota; and Detroit. He also has Las Vegas residencies and a European summer tour scheduled.

Blondie‘s Debbie Harry says she’ll spend Christmas having a holiday dinner with friends that will include “exchanging presents, and perhaps some romance.”

While Blondie hasn’t announced any 2020 tour dates yet, Harry has plans to head to Germany in March to continue promoting her 2019 memoir, Face It, with a series of in-conversation events that also will feature her longtime band mate and former romantic partner, Chris Stein.

Journey guitarist Neal Schon tells ABC Audio that his holiday will be low-key one with his wife and family members.

“We hang out and have a beautiful Christmas,” he says. “A relaxing holiday for everyone.”

Schon’s 2019 concert schedule with Journey isn’t quite done: the band will end the year by playing a four-show Las Vegas residency at The Colosseum at Caesars on December 27, 28, 30 and 31. Then, come 2020, Journey will hit the road with The Pretenders on a major joint tour that kicks off May 15 in Ridgefield, Washington.
