Credit: Zack WhitfordAerosmith will be the honorees at MusiCares’ 30th anniversary Person of the Year gala at the Los Angeles Convention Center in L.A. on January 24, and details of an official charity auction held in conjunction with the event have now been unveiled.

The sale features a variety of Aerosmith-related memorabilia, including a microphone and a mic stand autographed by singer Steven Tyler, guitars signed by Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, a bass autographed by Tom Hamilton, and a drumhead signed by Joey Kramer. The auction also is offering VIP tickets to see Aerosmith perform during their Las Vegas residency that includes a meet-and-greet with Tyler and Perry.

A variety of items signed by other famous musicians also are up for bids, including guitars from The Who‘s Pete Townshend, Carlos Santana and Foo FightersDave Grohl; a ukulele from Pearl Jam‘s Eddie Vedder; a 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year program signed by Fleetwood Mac; and an autographed vinyl copy of Linda Ronstadt‘s Heart Like a Wheel album.

Another interesting lot available is a limited-edition custom watch featuring a watch band made out of a guitar strap donated by Tom Petty.

The sale is being hosted by Julien’s Auctions. Bidding on the items is open online at JuliensLive.com until January 24 at 11 a.m. PT.

Funds raised will benefit MusiCares, the charitable arm of the Recording Academy.

As previously reported, the MusiCares Person of the Year gala takes place two days before the Grammy Awards ceremony. Aerosmith will be saluted at the event with tribute performances from guest artists including Alice Cooper, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., John Legend and The Jonas Brothers.
