The former Beatles legend’s Record Store Day offering is a half-speed-mastered, 50th anniversary edition of his debut solo album, McCartney.
The Rolling Stones have two special releases: a Limited Collectors Edition of their classic 1969 album Let It Bleed featuring a unique multi-colored vinyl pressing, and the U.K. version of the band’s 1975 rarities album, Metamorphosis, pressed on green vinyl and packaged with an iron-on of the cover.
The Who also has two RSD releases: A Quick Live One, a red, white and blue-striped disc featuring the band’s full performance at the 1967 Monterey Pop festival; and a deluxe two-LP version of the group’s 1974 rarities album, Odds and Sods, featuring one red disc and one yellow disc.
The Doors’ contribution to the campaign is The Soft Parade: Stripped, which features tracks from the band’s 1969 album The Soft Parade minus the horns and strings that appeared on the original songs.
Fleetwood Mac’s offering is an alternate version of the band’s landmark 1977 album Rumours, featuring alternate takes of the songs.
