The Van Halen frontman announce the news on his Twitter feed with a tongue-in-cheek message that reads, “Somebody get me a Doctor, just kidding…Take your Whiskey home, not kidding.”
The other postponed dates were scheduled for March 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28. The next concert on Diamond Dave’s schedule is a May 1 performance at the 2020 Epicenter Festival in Concord, North Carolina. However, organizers of the event report they are monitoring the situation with the virus and will make an announcement soon about whether they will move forward with it.
Roth is scheduled to perform at the 2020 Firefly Music Festival on June 18 in Dover, Delaware, and is slated to begin a new stint as KISS‘ opening act when the band launches the next leg of its End of the Road farewell tour on August 28 in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
