The Covert Public Schools Board of Education has announced the selection of five candidates to be interviewed for the position of superintendent.

The board says it will interview the five on June 12 starting at 5 p.m. with follow up interviews taking place on June 16.

The candidates are Benton Harbor Area Schools Superintendent Kelvin Butts, South Haven High School Principal Joe Allen, Dowagiac Middle School Principal Sean Wightman, Bangor High School Principal Steve Galvan, and Parchment High School Principal Craig Thornton.

The Covert Board says the public is invited to all interviews, which will take place at the Covert Public Schools Board of Education Room.
