The city of South Haven is working to resolve a large power outage.

The issue began in the early afternoon Thursday. The city says one of the American Electric Power feeds that supply the city went down.

AEP and the city are now working to fix the issue, although as of late afternoon, AEP had not provided the city with a restoration estimate.

Residents are being advised to prepare for the possibility the outage lasts for several hours.

The city will provide updates to residents as they’re available.
