Nearly 500,000 people will visit Ann Arbor this weekend for the annual Ann Arbor Art Fair.
The fair began Thursday and runs through Saturday. Director Frances Todoro-Hargreaves says nearly 1,000 artists will be in attendance showing off and selling their art.
“Some are helping to make an interactive art piece that you can then be part of the installation,” Hargreaves said. “So the Tiana Clemens kite project, you’re able to go and paint your own small kite. And then that’ll be put into a larger installation that’ll be an aerial art piece.”
Hargreaves says there are more than 200 new artists this year.
