The South Haven Regional Business Hub has announced the hiring of a new executive director.

A. Elizabeth Bernhard most recently served as the director of the Manufacturing Growth Alliance, a statewide nonprofit supporting small to midsize manufacturers. The hub says she also has an extensive background in non-profits and strategic partnership development. She officially started as the director of the hub on Monday.

The South Haven Regional Business Hub says its mission is to foster the growth of small businesses and make the South Haven region an attractive area for entrepreneurs. It offers support for businesses, connecting them to resources for funding, mentoring, planning, networking, and launching new ventures.

Acting Director Debi Howe says the hub is thrilled to welcome Bernhard, adding her “diverse experience and unwavering commitment to economic development and partnership-building will be invaluable as we continue to support and grow businesses in our in our region.”
