Corewell Health is teaming up with Lakeland Care Network to offer flu vaccine clinics throughout Southwest Michigan over the next month.
Corewell says it’ll have both drive-through and walk-in clinics for adults age 18 and older to help the community stay healthy heading into the colder months. The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine for nearly everyone ages six months and older as the best protection.
Corewell’s clinics will be held from September 16 through October 15 at locations in St. Joseph, New Buffalo, Hartford, Coloma, Dowagiac, Benton Harbor, Buchanan, Niles, Stevensville, and more.
Appointments won’t be needed, and Corewell notes most health insurance policies cover the flu vaccine. Otherwise, it will be $37 for the trivalent flu vaccine, or $74 for the high-dose vaccine. However, Corewell says no one will be turned away due to an inability to pay.
