The city of St. Joseph will host an outdoor screening of Young Frankenstein this Saturday night downtown.

The city says the screening will come at the end of the first ever St. Joseph Downtown Spooktacular, being held by St. Joe Today.

After everyone’s had their fun decorating pumpkins, strolling the Halloween market, watching the costume parade, and taking hayrides, they can head to the Apricot Lot and take in the Mel Brooks classic. The Apricot Lot is the parking lot at Broad Street and Lake Boulevard.

The city says people can sit in their cars and watch the movie drive-in style, or they can bring a lawn chair. The screening will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held rain or shine.
