Benton Harbor Area Schools is investigating a complaint of inappropriate conduct involving several employees.

The district on Wednesday issued a statement saying the employees in question have been removed from their duties. Its goal is to review the allegations thoroughly. They were received on Monday.

The district says it can’t reveal additional details, but it wants to assure the community it takes all such concerns seriously.

The district’s statement concludes, “Our top priority remains the safety and well-being of our students, and we are committed to maintaining a secure and supportive learning environment.”
