Congressman Bill Huizenga is seeking reelection.

Huizenga announced on social media Monday he wants to continue combatting inflation and improving affordability as families in Michigan recover from what he calls the “failed policies of the Biden-era.”

Huizenga says he’s helped secure tax cuts and voted to lower energy prices while supporting “transformative energy investments here in Southwest Michigan.” He adds he continues to stand with law enforcement and back the securing of the nation’s borders.

Huizenga says he’s proud of his accomplishments, but the work in Michigan isn’t finished, and that’s why he’s seeking to represent the Fourth District again.

Huizenga was first elected to Congress in the Second District in 2010, taking office in 2011. After redistricting in the state, he was elected to the Fourth District, which includes Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties, as well as Kalamazoo and Holland.
