An Eau Claire woman is facing charges for her role in a fatal shooting outside a bar in the village in 2024.

The Berrien County Sheriff’s Department says 45-year-old Pamela Darlene Scott is charged with being an accessory after the fact and lying to police during a violent crime investigation in the Chad Medlin murder case.

Medlin was killed in a shooting the night of November 2, 2024. Rigoberto Gomez was charged with second degree murder in the case and found guilty in November of last year.

Scott was arrested on Monday and arraigned in the Berrien County Trial Court on Tuesday. She was charged after a review of the case by the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office.

Both charges faced by Scott are felonies.
