The Lakeshore Excellence Foundation has announced an upcoming change in leadership.
The foundation says longtime chair JC Anderson will be stepping down at the end of this year, and current LEF Board member Himanshu Ganjoo will be moving into the role of chair. The LEF says this comes after 14 years of dedicated leadership from Anderson, who’s led the organization as it strengthened its focus, expanded fundraising efforts, deepened donor relationships, and enhanced support for education across Lakeshore Public Schools.
Anderson, who turned 80 this past October, will serve for the remainder of the year and then move into the role of vice chair of fund development for 2027, ending his LEF service in 2028.
The LEF says Ganjoo brings strong professional and community credentials to the role of chair. He’s currently a commercial banker with 1st Source Bank. He’ll take over at the LEF in January of 2027.
