Berrien RESA is preparing to host its 2026 Annual Elementary Science Olympiad, bringing hands-on science learning to students across the county.

The event will take place Friday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 12:50 p.m. at Lake Michigan College’s Napier Avenue campus in Benton Harbor. About 20 elementary schools from throughout Berrien County are expected to participate.

Organizers say the day is designed to be non-competitive, simply giving the kids a chance to explore science through interactive activities and experiments.

RESA says the goal is to spark curiosity and encourage young learners to engage with science in a fun, collaborative environment.
