Michigan State Police say detectives with the Southwest Enforcement Team and the Niles Post K-9 Unit executed a search warrant on April 1 at a home on the 700 block of McGuigan Avenue following an investigation into alleged drug distribution.

Officers seized approximately one ounce of powder cocaine, 20 grams of crack cocaine, digital scales, and packaging materials commonly used for drug sales. A 45-year-old Benton Harbor man was arrested and lodged in the Berrien County Jail on charges of possession with intent to deliver cocaine and crack cocaine, as well as maintaining a drug house, all second offenses.
