Creative Direction: Aubrey Powell, Hipgnosis; Design: Peter Curzon, StormStudiosPink Floyd‘s output from 1987 onwards — as recorded by David Gilmour, Nick Mason and Richard Wright — will be saluted November 29 with a huge box set called Pink Floyd The Later Years.

The package of 16 discs — five CDs, six Blu-rays and five DVDs — cover the band’s studio albums A Momentary Lapse of Reason, The Division Bell and The Endless River, as well as the live albums Delicate Sound of Thunder and Pulse. It features more than 13 hours of unreleased audio and video, as well as the band’s previously unreleased 1989 concert in Venice, Italy and a 1990 show in Knebworth, U.K.

The collection is highlighted by the first-ever release on Blu-ray, DVD and 7-inch vinyl of Gilmour, Wright and Mason’s final performance together: a rendition of “Arnold Layne” that they played in 2007 at a Syd Barrett tribute concert in London.

In addition to all the audio/visual material, the package also comes with productions of tour artwork, posters, program and memorabilia, two 7-inch vinyl singles in new picture sleeves, and a 60-page book of photos designed by Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis and Peter Curzon of StormStudios.

If your love of Floyd doesn’t extend to 16 discs, a two-LP or single CD “highlights” package will be available, each with a 24-page booklet.

A Momentary Lapse of Reason, Floyd’s first album without Roger Waters, and The Division Bell, its last album with Wright, were both hugely successful, but A Momentary Lapse of Reason spun off the most hits, including “Learning to Fly,” “One Slip” and “On the Turning Away.”
