Shanabelle/RCA Records Foo Fighters members unite on “Middle Child,” a new song from Taylor Hawkins and his side band, the Coattail Riders.
The track features Foo frontman Dave Grohl on guitars. You can download it now via digital outlets.
“Middle Child” will appear on the forthcoming Coattail Riders album Get the Money, due out November 8. Grohl is featured on four songs off the record, including the previously released single “Crossed the Line.”
Other artists featured Get the Money include Foo guitarist Pat Smear, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh, Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan, Heart‘s Nancy Wilson, The Pretenders frontwoman Chrissie Hynde, Jane’s Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, and country singer LeAnn Rimes.
As for Grohl and Hawkins’ main gig, another Foo Fighters album is apparently in the works. Hawkins recently told Kerrang! that Grohl is in the process of “mapping out” the new record, the follow-up to 2017’s Concrete and Gold.
