The Doors‘ Robby Krieger and Jane’s Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins are among several musicians who’ve joined the lineup of the eighth annual Rock Against MS Benefit Concert, scheduled for Saturday, March 21, at the Palace Theatre in Los Angeles.

Also joining the event’s bill are Whitesnake bassist Michael Devin, Sons of Apollo/ex-Journey singer Jeff Scott Soto, and a group called The Tribe that features former Beach Boys guitarist David Marks and famed Wrecking Crew keyboardist Don Randi.

The list of performers already included Toto‘s Steve Lukather, longtime Billy Idol guitarist Steve Stevens, former Alice Cooper guitarist Orianthi, MC5‘s Wayne Kramer, Jack Russell’s Great White, King’s X frontman Dug Pinnick, pop star Tiffany, and Mr. Big/Ace Frehley drummer Matt Starr, among many others.

As previously reported, the concert’s goal is to raise awareness and educate the public about multiple sclerosis, while raising funds for the Rock Against MS Foundation’s planned MS support centers, dubbed The Rock House. The facilities will offer a variety of free activities and programs for people with the disease.

The concert will include all-star tributes to several famous musicians who died in 2019 — Eddie Money, The Cars‘ Ric Ocasek, Cream drummer Ginger Baker, The Monkees‘ Peter Tork, surf-guitar legend Dick Dale, and Wrecking Crew drummer Hal Blaine.

Mad TV star Debra Wilson and comic Joe Sib will host the fundraiser, which also will feature a silent auction and awards presentations.
