It’s been nearly 50 years now since Jimmy Hoffa was last seen in a restaurant parking lot in Bloomfield Township. Now, a Detroit-area investigative author claims to know who killed Hoffa and what happened to the body.

Scott Burnstein is holding a ticketed event at Macomb Community College next Wednesday called “Hoffa Mystery Solved: 50 Years Later.”

“At the end, we’re going to tell everybody who killed Jimmy Hoffa,” Burnstein said. “We’re going to give you a name, where he was taken and disposed of, where the body went. And we’re going to let everybody know that this is what the FBI believes. It’s not just us talking and telling you this, this is the official FBI theory, a half century after Hoffa disappeared from a Bloomfield Township restaurant parking lot in July 30th, 1975.”

The FBI has not released the information Burnstein claims to know about Hoffa. It has so far declined to comment.
