No one is hurt is hurt after the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Department rescued some jet skiers from high waves on Lake Michigan Saturday afternoon in South Haven.

South Haven Area Emergency Services says deputies from the sheriff’s department’s marine division pulled the riders out of the water after their jet ski overturned and couldn’t be righted about two miles south of the lighthouse.

The riders and their jet ski were safely returned to shore. SHAES also responded with its fireboat.
SHAES says red flags were flying along the shoreline with waves reported four-to-six feet.
