Police have identified a body found in a Sawyer pond this week.

The Chikaming Township Police Department says the body was found in the pond behind Arlington Metals on Arlington Drive Monday. It’s now been identified as 48-year-old Charles Zalewski of Ohio. However, the circumstances surrounding Zalewski’s death remain under investigation.

Police ask anyone with information to contact them.
