The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety reports firefighters responded to a house fire in Benton Charter Township Sunday night. Crews were called around 7:30 to the 1300 block of Hurd, where they found flames coming from a one-story home.

The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety assisted Benton Township firefighters, with Engine 323 and Squad 51 on scene.

Searches of the home found no one inside, and no injuries were reported. Medic 1 Ambulance also assisted.
