The Berrien County Trial Court in St. Joseph will be undergoing renovations to the public entrance to the courthouse.
The court says beginning on Monday October 20th, the regular public entrance will be closed, and a temporary entrance will be created. The temporary entrance will be situated on the west side of the courthouse just to the south of the regular entrance.
All members of the public needing to do business in the St. Joseph courthouse must go through the security checkpoint at the temporary entrance. Signs will be available to direct patrons to the new entrance and exit within and without the courthouse.
The renovations are expected to take about two weeks.
The project affects the St. Joseph courthouse only. The Niles courthouse entrance remains normal.
St. Joseph courthouse employees will be provided separate instructions for entry and exit during the renovation period.
