Van Buren County Assistant Prosecutor Rachel Keeley has announced her candidacy for Van Buren County District Court Judge.

Keeley says she would bring more than a decade of courtroom experience, local roots, and a career dedicated to protecting children and standing with victims to the role.

Keeley says she’s worked some of the most serious criminal cases in Southwest Michigan in her ten years with the Van Buren County Prosecutor’s Office. She’s also been a Safe Harbor team member since 2015, advocating for victims in both Allegan and Van Buren counties.

Keeley has the endorsements of Judge Michael McKay, Judge Susan Metzger, Prosecutor Susan Zuiderveen, and Sheriff Dan Abbott.
