A Benton Harbor man is dead after a hit and run crash in Cass County.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says deputies were called to the area of M-152 and Pleasant Street in Dowagiac around 9:50 a.m. on Sunday on a report of a hit and run.

Deputies arrived to learn 24-year-old Timothy Johnson had been walking along M-152 when an unknown vehicle struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Now police are looking for suspects and ask anyone with information to contact them at 1-800-462-9328.
